You need a "wet leg" connection or wet tap on the large tank to enable you to fill smaller tanks off of it. Best done by someone who knows what they are doing. Do you rent the tank or own it? If you rent it.you will probably have to use the tank/propane company to come out and install it. If you own the tank, you can call around to different propane suppliers and look for the best price. Not all propane suppliers will install one..some are afraid of some kind of implied liability. Do a Google search on "propane tank wet leg" or similar and educate yourself before you jump into one.
